Hello, I'm Giri Durai. My journey in the cinema industry started over a decade ago with Actor Mime Gopi and continued alongside Actor and Comedian Yogi Babu. While working at a shipping company, I pursued my passion for cinema. My first acting role was in a Munch Chocolate ad with Virat Kohli, followed by a part in the Tamil movie Bramman with Actor Soori. Although I missed opportunities in the movie Madras due to scheduling conflicts and personal reasons, I got another chance with the Tamil film Veera in 2015. Since then, I've been continuously working as a scriptwriter and movie director.

The turning point came in 2019 when I was selected for Vijay TV’s KPY audition. I embarked on a new chapter as an entertainer in KPY Season 9, where I received an enthusiastic response and secured the 1st runner-up position. Since then, I have continued working in cinema with a focus on entertaining people.

Inspired by my experiences, I decided to venture into event management and founded Gidu Media, named after me, Giri Durai. At Gidu Media, we offer a range of event management services, including day-out packages for corporates, mime acts, weddings, colleges, schools, and more—all at competitive prices. We also provide free mime training and cater to various media activities. Known as Gilma Giri on Vijay Television, I am committed to bringing joy and entertainment through our diverse offerings.
